Yes B-Cal started Gatwick-Houston pre DC-10 with the 707's back in the mid 70's (used to connect well to their Lagos, Riyadh and Aberdeen services). Then with DC-10's until the BA take over in '88 where the route remained until the Bermuda Agreement was finally dispanded in 2008 and a wave of routes transferred over to LHR. I seem to remember BA also operating one stop/same aircraft service LHR-DTW-IAH prior to the agreement terminating in the early 2000's with Boeing 767-300's.
