BA has form on this subject too. Decades ago, my husband and I were flying LHR-JFK on BA. My husband was top of the wozza with QF which enabled him to have access + 1 guest (depending on capacity). BA denied me access quoting capacity. When my husband went into the lounge briefly, there was no one else there. We wandered around LHR for a bit and husband went back into the lounge just before our flight to see one sole traveller. After all this time, it still leaves a bad impression of BA.
