I think BA took over circa 1989 from Gatters
the Ba Cal routes got taken over around this time. I remember flying on the DC10's in BA colours in the early Nineties before I got fired! got UPG to First then on way back home with me boss so had to behave!......

Pension still looks good from then when I drawdown next yr!

8 1/2 hrs home a nice overnight flight timing but +6 hrs time zone change a killer especially on way back to young kids!
