I have read several posts here, and I understand that no one knows if UA will honor the tickets or not. I just wonder what your best, educated guess would be, assuming US goes belly up soon and UA is still flying in August, as to if the tickets would be honored by UA.

I wish to size up my situation because I recently got engaged and we thought Hawaii would be a great place to get married. But obviously I can't make any plans while things are so up in the air, no pun intended.

So, what are my chances of going on my award tickets? Good... Fair... Poor... Non-existent? Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!
Personally, if I was now planning on getting married in HNL I would ditch the questionable tickets and purchase 2 FC tickets on Delta for $1267 each. A bargain by any standard as normal coach ticket runs around $800, and not only that but you would be well on your way to obtaining status on a new airline. Also, if you are already elite on US I would see if DL would match your status and start flying DL as your new airline. The only reason I suggested DL is because of their low CLT-HNL FC fares as most other airlines' prices are in the $2300 range (CO, AA, UA, NWA) and US is at $2734 (I guess they charge extra for the plastic cups and cardboard box - my last experience flying US FC).
