I've read multiple articles about safety in Santiago. I thought it was relatively safe the few times I've been there pre-pandemic. Has that changed since?
I will most likely be staying in Providencia at the Four Points, and while the room isn't amazing (it IS a Four Points) the staff have been great the last few times I stayed there.
Originally I thought about the AC Hotel at Costanera Center, but then thought about coming back at night at that hotel, then hesitated a bit.
