If my CLEAR membership wasn't complimentary by virtue of my Amex Platinum card I'd have already cancelled it. My wife and I are probably averaging at least 50% additional ID verification when we use it, so ultimately all it gives us is "front of the line" privileges. Factor in insufficient staff so by the time you've been "welcomed" by an Ambassador you'd have been just as quick waiting in the normal TSA PreCheck queue it's hardly worth it. Add in an additional dose of surliness or bad attitude from the Ambassadors and it's hard to reconcile why I'm a member.
