Yeah, something is screwy with the reservation. Not sure why - I booked it directly with Hilton, no 3rd party or any of the other things asked about above. Now I am trying to cancel it (to change to a different hotel entirely) and I can't even do that. There is a message on the reservation page that says "Contact customer care at +351 22 976 1770 for assistance with this reservation." In lieu of making an international call, I did a chat with an agent online. He was able to cancel the reservation and points have been refunded.
FYI the new hotel I booked as a replacement is also with Hilton points. The confirmation email from that one correctly shows how many points I used for the booking.
