Yeah previously most properties operated under the best room or standard suites, now it seems like more and more are going to the Marriott model of doing whatever makes them the most money. Even formerly elite friendly hotels have changed over time. As word spreads I would guess that this will become more common place across Hyatts and devalue Globalist upgrades a lot. The other annoying thing is watching properties removing free parking on awards stays and free breakfast by claiming their restaurants or garage are third party operated even though you can room charge to them. Those third parties might just happen to be owned by the same people as the hotel but under a different legal entity.
