Accor is the safest bet since you can book hotels without dynamic pricing and award availability + use miles for incidentals. INR 1.8/mile is pretty incredible value.
You can also transfer 1:1 from Accor to Flying Blue, Finnair, Virgin Australia, Qantas and BA/Qatar via Iberia.
The problem with Accor is that the points expire in 1 year. So it's not at very useful. Additionally, Accor's limited global coverage, MB Platinum etc, challenges remain. I'm still struggling to use my 2 room certificate!
But most importantly... what would be the benefit of first transferring to Accor and then to say AF or IB? Wouldn't be getting the exact same ratio? Just a year more of life assuming my mile's life counter is reset which I don't know if it will be?
