Its not pilots they need, its aircraft. When they dumped half their fleet (Q400) they did a lot of cuts. They have taken a lot of E175 deliveries recently but even so they are only at 42 aircraft and they were about 60 with the Qs.

It didn't hurt that Yakima, Wenatchee and Walla Walla each coughed up $500K to support the "expansion".
