In 2019 I flew VS TLV-LHR-JFK in Premium and then JFK-LHR-TLV Upper Class (with a 5h layover to give myself plenty of Clubhouse time and because that flight was on the at-the-time-brand-new A350-1000). That was my first and so far only time flying non-economy, so I don’t have comparison points to other premium experiences, but to the best of my recollection the food on all four segments ranged from good to great. The Clubhouse in JFK had terrible kosher food, I think it was meatballs or something with tough inedible peas, in a black plastic tray. Don’t remember if there were options or a selection beyond that. LHR was a different story entirely - I had a frittata (with a whole bunch of sides) in the Revivals lounge which was pretty good, and then in the Clubhouse there was a whole menu. I think I had a really good salmon dish, and then they had individual Haagen-Dazs cups for dessert, and topped it all off with a massage.
