(Not sure whether this is old news) PRC Wechat will take in foreign cards, and make payments fee-free for <=RMB 200 https://www.hk01.com/%E5%A4%A7%E5%9C...BA%8C%E8%B2%BB ? ~~But not all payees are can take these payments.~~
