I had a $200 credit from a jetblue meltdown.

the agent advised me to book a blue extra ticket for anywhere close to the travel bank value as I could get before the travel bank expired. It seemed like a good idea since the agent told me those tickets are the most flexible.

when I now go to change the ticket I can only book blue extra fares not blue fares. Is there any work around or any ideas? This agent probably told this to hundreds of people by now but I should have booked a blue fare cause now I’m locked into high prices and blue extra prices. Any ideas how I can book a blue fare? When I call they all just tell me to cancel but I’m sure that will not go back to the travel bank as per the warnings on the website about travel bank expiration dates
