​​​​​​A normal Italian way to wish somebody good luck on an exam is "In bocca al lupo" (In the wolf's mouth), to which the reply is "Crepi il lupo" or simply "Crepi" (The wolf will die; or may the wolf die). Do wolves really roam in Italian examination halls?
Hmmm. Maybe should refrain from using "knock 'em dead" with non-native English speakers.
