They are talking about reducing from 410 currently to 390. This is compared to 435 normally during normal summer (there were already some reductions to 410 this summer due to the FAA saying there would be summer ATC issues in NYC and allowing airlines to reduce without slot implications, including NYC-DCA). They also mention upgauging. So I don't see any TATL moving out to other hubs. I expect that the 20 flight further reduction will be domestic feeder flights going from, say, 5 to 4 daily with perhaps slightly larger planes operating. And/or, they could move a couple of the smaller domestic cities in the Northeast from EWR to IAD.

Regardless, this won't be a massive reshaping of the destination portfolio from EWR. It might not be a change in destinations at all.
