Does E+ pricing drop at T-24 (i.e. upgrade offer at checkin) or does it get worse? Maybe the system needs time to process Silver customers who want to select E+?

Also any recent data points on dynamic pricing for E+ ? The c2016 reports suggest the price only goes up (just like dynamic awards!)

Normally not an issue for me flying with lifetime status, but Boraxo Jr. is taking a solo flight and currently stuck in E- and I have no insight into E+ pricing.

As discussed elsewhere this policy is highly offensive to those of us who purchase higher-priced economy tix and are then locked out of seats that are provided free to bottom feeder BE customers. I understand why it works this way (many of us might be unhappy with an automatic re-assignment to an E+ middle) but the system could be programmed to reduce E+ pricing at T-12 or even release inventory to regular economy customers prior to BE assignments.
