Globalist points advance reservation auto pay 8 days out
Hi -
I have a points advance reservation that I was able to make as a globalist, and understand that I must have sufficient points in my WoH account 7 days prior to the stay or else the rate changes to the cash rate. My question is - what needs to happen 7 days out? Are the points automatically deducted without me taking action (like calling them and asking to "pay" from points in my account)?
Do these "points advance" reservations look any different in the reservations section of the app or online? Or would I need to comb through my points activity and match the reservation in question to a line item showing those points deducted for a stay at that specific property, and that's the only way to know that it's been "paid for" with points instead of remaining a points advance booking.
