Living at an outstation that is considered a leisure destination this is absolutely true. The LCCs and ULCCs keep expanding here because the public keeps flying them. If the general public demanded lite-flat seats and six-course meals I am sure the airlines would be more than happy to do that and turn a profit at the same time. Instead it is largely a race to the bottom.
