They instead offer two vouchers for meals at selected airport restaurants and 1,000 FB miles as a compensation (“gesture of goodwill”, they call it). Quite unimpressive, to say the least, and something tells me that the goodwill gesture will not be credited automatically into my FB account.
DEL has some time back cancelled the lease on two or three of the contract lounges, intending to instead redevelop the space as a single large, new parther operated, lounge.

just opened. Possibly AF will now start using it. LH has been in the same boat except that *G pax could use Air India facilities.
1000 miles goodwill, by the way, rings a tad bit hollow when they want 12000 miles for the use of AF lounges. 5k would be nicer... but then at todays earning rates, could easily dwarf the earning from even a premium ticket.
