Capella exceeded expectations and had a lot of inclusions that went above and beyond, along with service just as good as the Amans. For example there is a free nightly cocktail hour with canapés, where you can order ANY cocktail/drink you want, and have as many as you would like during a 90 minute window. They also had lots of included daily activity options which was very nice (And some free laundry), and the breakfast menu had options from 5+ western/asian cuisines. We had the japanese bento box each day along with a few other dishes which was very well done and came with a beautiful piece of salmon.

Lastly the hard product is spectacular if you are a fan of the Bill Bensley style, the details are all perfect and lots of thought went into every area of the hotel. I have not stayed at the four seasons tented camp golden triangle which is another Bensley hotel but they look pretty similar and Capella Ubud is 1/3 the price. Capella also gave us nicer luggage tags on departure lol.
