You shouldn't have any trouble clearing something on those dates, especially CLT-FRA or MUC and especially on 11/29 (midweek Tues and Wed departures are always much easier than Thurs-Mon, generally speaking).

I'm headed to Berlin so ideally it would be through LHR so that I can catch a BA connection over, but if C space opened up I'd be comfortable flying into FRA or MUC and taking the train (or a separate LH flight). I guess I should just go ahead and book from DFW at the time that I want, waitlist, and hope something comes up in the meantime that allows me to weigh those options?
