My bags were caught up in the 26 May LHR meltdown. We were heading to Athens to board a cruise so had to purchase a weeks worth of clothing. We didn't go too overboard and spent about $900 on clothing, toiletries, etc. The bags did show up the morning of the cruise so we were able to go back to the airport and pick them up and make the sailing. I finally heard back from BA yesterday and was approved for all $900 plus taxis and delayed flight compensation. Overall added up to about $2,200.
