This sounds like a dreadful experience and I hope it did not spoil your honeymoon. If that happened to me I'd be going ballistic and want more than just a few avios - minimum of 150000 would be what I would expect, 100000 for the broken seat and 50000 for the food service issue. I'd also want to mention the names of the crew and the IFL in my complaint.

In terms of lounge entry I hesitate to ask the question about if you are female? Mrs firstlight has noticed some concorde room entry staff have old fashioned attitudes and assume she is accompanying me as a guest rather than deserving entry in her own right; she now always presents her boarding pass first at the entry desk when travelling with me.
