It's also an AA location. One of the most beautiful airports I know, the mountains line up alongside the runway. Also, it does double for some of the year as a ski airport and so they do know about baggage issues there. Plus it's a great place for riding horses, but I can't really link that into anything really.
Jackson would have worked for us on the 25th, but the BA Baggage Team the BAEC Agent was chatting to at LHR were not confident they would get through the backlog by then. My concern would be it arrived after we arrived and then we'd need to try to then get it from there / go back there. When they quoted 5 days to get to our bag (I can't see how it is that bad), that would leave no wiggle room to get to JAC via DEN with UA.
Looking forward to passing through
Thanks again for everything CWS!
