Can't obviously see an issue with the original post but won't reproduce in case.
Edit: I see it is back.
In terms of your very legitimate concerns:
- Denied second guest to CCR as GGL travelling F- this is wrong, you are allowed 2 and if they check the rules they should see it. Not a great start. If you were travelling with your husband in F then in total you should have been able to bring in 3 guests (assuming he is not also GGL?).
- Pyjamas not available in the correct size - not really good enough and I would complain and expect some Avios in return. (I was on a flight recently where they couldn't find any of the pyjamas- fortunately still had my outbound ones...think I got 20k which seemed a little overzealous but then it was an overnight flight)
- Seat mechanism and entertainment failed - this would be a major problem in my book. Were they able to set it manually so you could sleep? You had an iPad but the battery died and the socket didn't work. More Avios I suppose although not great overall.
- Had asked for later meal and the items weren't saved - OK now you have me upset too... no excuses but it does seem to be a bit risky if you don't eat at the same time as everyone else, just judging by the number of similar reports on here.
A couple of thoughts on the other things:
- GGL in F - the advantages of high CIV are completely overstated on here IMO, and as far as I am concerned if my father who is bronze or blue or something had paid for F I would expect him to have a nice experience, certainly better than yours. Agree though it isn't a good way to treat your supposed best customers in the best/most expensive cabin and you almost certainly would have had your first meal choice.
- Some chat about PhD/MB/MD Drs - don't take it personally, they almost certainly meant to be friendly even though it wasn't taken that way and they weren't to know what your husband had been up to that day. Nobody ever asked for a doctor on board in case someone had a DDiv in New Testament Greek (my old man again...
). Hope your husband recovered OK from his day.
