I know AS uses the most significant carrier rule for Canadian itineraries, but what about others? My niece is travelling PDX-SFO with AS in economy, then onwards to HKG and MEL with CX in business, all on the one ticket with a short layover at SFO. Will the CX allowance apply or will she be stuck with one piece at 23kg?
