Comments: I have to come clean on this upgrade and explain that I have some VIP status at this hotel as I've been staying here regularly for ten years and probably have amassed more nights here since it reopened after the Great Plague than many (if not all) former regulars. I am always upgraded within days of making a reservation to a suite. After they converted the 24th floor Presidential Suite to the Club Lounge there is only one remaining Presidential Suite on the 23rd floor. Tonight my sister and nephews from the UK are also staying and my brother-in-law is Titanium and has been upgraded to a suite. Therefore, and this cements why this hotel gets all my spend in Bangkok, they've given me the Presidential Suite so my family can look on in wonder. I love Bangkok and I love Le Meridien.
