It is a question of priority's this year. The most important in the immediate term being cash flow -getting aircraft back in the air- paying down debt to he government -acquiring staff .
Other is secondary and repairable once the main rebuilding blocks are in place is I believe the thinking.
The thing is, CX should (in priority)
1) Acquire more staff to increase frequency, especially Boeing Pilot and cabin crew.
2) Getting aircraft back to prevent a domino effect. CX tends to fly long-haul aircraft to a cheaper place for refueling, then go back to hong kong for a long-haul flight. If they got more aircraft and staff, they could increase the frequency to such places and prevent delays of long-haul flights at mid-nights.
3) Paying debt to the government.
But CX seems to put paying debt in the first place.
