Got an email notification that AC785 this upcoming Saturday was cancelled citing “equipment availability”. Checked on the app and it showed up as cancelled there, however on the website no indication it was cancelled.
Called into reservations, on their end they told me it was not cancelled and that this likely represented a back end glitch. Thought this might make sense given the discordance between the app and the website, and that I hadn’t received a rebooking email.
Now a few hours later, the app and the website are concordant. Can’t rebook online using the self serve tool, or make any change to the booking online.
Any thoughts on if this is still some sort of back end glitch? Should I wait it out? I don’t want to spend another 1hr + on the phone on hold again…
This flight does seem to be cancelled a lot, at least according to AC's website. Just this week:
Monday,
Tuesday,
Wednesday, and
Saturday. If it were me, I'd try calling again.
