So finally got though on the chat.

the payments I am trying to make is essentially paying off towards my car loan and apparently they are having an issue of not being able to make payments to financial institutions or gambling companies.

sounds to me like they are just blocking it so that is likely to kill off being able to pay my mortgage or council tax with the card

i kicked off and they are sending me a form within 72 hours to have my £2k funds given back to my regular bank account.

May explain why some are having issues paying off Amex with the card too
