Bu the way - the interest has been reversed, which is good, but I received a text this morning saying that they sent me a link yesterday to make a payment of £5 towards my account. They then quote the link.

All of which is very interesting as I received nothing and there is no explanation of why I might want to make a payment of £5. I know why, but had I not checked the account yesterday I'd be really confused.

I made a payment to clear the account yesterday so I;m not fussed about the text in itself, but if they really have reported the 'default' to the credit reference agencies I can't imagine a rapid solution.
