Why not take a bus from La Línea the night before and get a hotel near the airport? Buses are 15€ (check Alsa's site) and the savings from the taxi should compensate for 1 night of hotel near the airport somewhere.

It takes 1.5h to drive from GIB to AGP, 2h by bus. I imagine it'll be 200-300 €€ to take a taxi there.
