Just completed two separate stays here (2 nights + 1 night) and really enjoyed it. Location very convenient for HND: we just took the train to Shinagawa and then a cab ride for JPY 1K. Manageable even with lots of luggage. Shirokanedai station is actually more convenient for Ginza as required no changes. But we used the hotel shuttle to both Shinagawa and Meguro which was very reliable.
Hotel was full on both occasions. I believe we had a one level upgrade to Deluxe. Found the twin room to be much more spacious than the Queen room.
As there were three of us staying in the room (incl 7y.o.) we gave up the welcome points in exchange for breakfast at the Chinese restaurant. Breakfast at California Cafe was also part of the welcome amenity, but limited for 2 guests. If you want to keep your points, the Club Lounge is your only option for breakfast. I had breakfast at the CL once and found it sufficient with scrambled eggs some meat (bacon or sausages) fruit, yogurts and pastries. Oddly, muffins were not replaced once they were finished. CL breakfast runs the latest.
We also had breakfast at the Chinese restaurant, where the 3 of us could enjoy the buffet. It has the earliest start of the 3 options at 6:30AM. The buffet is nice, b with lots of Asian and western options, including seafood salad, Japanese curry rice, noodle soup, and made to order eggs and omelettes (which were really good).
Altogether I was very happy with my stay. While it's not in the thick of things, the location is convenient and the pricing is good compared to other international chain options (although in the new normal $250/night is still far too much).
