I was booked on DL434 SEA-JFK in paid F today. We boarded and were about to close the doors when a ground stop went into effect for JFK. Rolling delays kept creeping back and back. Pilots timed out after about three hours and the cabin crew timed out a few hours later. I asked for my bags to be offloaded but they had towed our plane off the gate to handle another arrival and the ramp supervisor didn’t feel there was time to go hunting. I was finally able to get someone to agree to pull my bags after a little over five hours. The SkyClub agent rebooked me in F tomorrow on the same flight and sent me emails for hotel, transportation, and 2 x $15 meal vouchers. The premium hotel options were the Four Points, Hilton, and Radisson. Lower quality hotels included the Comfort Inn and Clarion.
