Understood, but did you contact the resort to explain that you were unable to stay and ask for a refund?
If you did not you can still file a claim, but it creates some ambiguity.
was booked via 3rd party OTA. Notified them today(which is within 48hr of doc appt). But terms strictly states no cancellation after June 10th. This was also via online chat, no emailing. We also spoke to actual resort yesterday and they can’t do anything. My only avenue now is with Chase though I’m not sure about the note not being in English and/or not being their standardized form will work. We are in a tiny 5k population rural town and almost no one speaks English and a doc would unlikely be willing to fill a foreign form out without 100% understand what they are filling out/sign.
Would this be an issue with Chase?
