Thankfully I got this corrected without any major headaches but this was an interesting one on a DL ticket. My middle initial is K. I recently used an ecredit and for some reason after booking and using the ecredit, my name displayed as <FIRST NAME> K K <LAST NAME>, adding an extra middle initial for some reason. Weird but my Skymiles # still attached and I've seen my name display in other wonky ways such as adding my middle initial to the end of my first name (ATOBTTRK LAST NAME), adding "MR" with my first name (MRATOBTTR), among other weird name displays and I haven't had any issues so I wasn't overly concerned. . But I changed the ticket again and used the ecredit again, only this time, the system kept the two K's as part of the first name and added my middle initial again, so now my name read as <FIRST NAME> K K K <LAST NAME>.

For obvious reasons, I don't want my name on my ticket or boarding pass to read this way. So I called the DM line and the agent looked at the ticket, immediately got what I was getting at, and changed the name on the ticket to just one K without hesitation. The entire call lasted less than 2 minutes from dialing to getting to the end-of-call survey so thankfully it was resolved quickly and without any pushback but it gave me both a chuckle and a bit of concern though at least I won't have to worry about any odd looks and potential extra scrutiny going through TSA on this ticket.
