I am so very glad to see Japan and Taiwan capacity increasing, booking flights has not been terribly easy or cheap. I'm especially happy to hear about TPE. Was hoping for LAX-TPE but I will settle for 2X SFO-TPE.

UA had 1x SFO-HKG and 1x EWR-HKG before COVID. ORD-HKG was cut less than a year before COVID. I think there was always traffic and demand for 3x daily to HKG but somehow economics didn't work for the ORD-HKG. Now with closed Russian airspace, it would be interesting to see of people from the East Coast will connect in LAX or just opt for TYO, ICN connections.
