I was mostly impressed by the Don Julio Aņejo tequila at the Level 45 Lounge. That's my go-to drink whenever I am in Mexico City!
Did you return for breakfast? I loved that basket of various pastries, amazing, just amazing.

in my king room I have 2 panels with switches for the sheer and blackout shades as well as the master switch on either side of the bed ( location may change between rooms I assume)
my first morning here so going down to breakfast shortly
Can see ropes outside my window so looks like cleaning is in progress but not sure if they will do my windows today
Trying out rosewater first.excellent restaurant.got sat in the separate diamond seatiing area with a view over the pool.sparkling apple and date juice available.
The scrambled egg with avocado ( on the diamond menu) is very good
There is a crepe and pancake station an egg station abd asian, arabic and indian sections
Now at level 45 with a view of the founders memorial , marina mall and the adnoc oil rig. Corniche has some haze so cannot see to far
very good continental selection ( juices inc mango come in bottles almost like the old style hip flasks and have ordered the pancakes.. they were very good
cafe latte again has 45 sprinkled on it.
Basket of 9 pastries has just come inc raspberry croissant apple and peach danishes.
only one other person in the lounge so feels like a private lounge.
now going to have to swim to burn it off ( after a while to let it digest)
As a bonus my windows were cleaned whilst i was at breakfast
However the conrad stuffed toy bear is out of stock
The level 45 concierge did phone several numbers abd phoned me a few minutes later in my room to tell me the bad news
Sea temperature is hot.
You can occasionally hear some construction noise from across the water .it is not too bad. Staff came round with a cup of iced water with slices of apple, lemon and cucumber which was quite refreshing
a 3 cube fruit skewer just came round
Signature Cocktails at lilett pool bar are Aed 65
Went up to the observation deck (free) with no queues.
a few people were enjoying afternoon tea.
still hazy so you could only see about half of the corniche. Still views of the palace, emirates palace and marina mall are good.
with the breakfast food, i skipped lunch and was fine until 3pm when afternoon tea us served.
