My TP collection ends on 8/3/24, and my (gold) card expires end of 4/24. Assuming I don't requalify this year, am I correct in thinking that if I apply now, my card validity will be extended to end of 4/25?
Or would it be put "on hold" for a year from now and should I therefore wait till closer to my current expiry date to apply?

My status expires September, and my card in October, but nothing has been added yet. I have no chance of renewing regularly as I currently have 10 tier points for the year.
I got another email (without chasing them) saying a request has been raised and to wait for the team to resolve. My wife's bronze membership which expired in July (card in August) got extended till next year and she got an email a few days after her expiry date stating this. I requested both extensions at the same time.
