Flew LHR-HKG-TPE and back in March. Approx 5pm departure and 8pm +1 arrival into TPE with time for a meal in the Pier (OWS). Very impressed by the CX service, apart from the second meal being served inbound with 6 hours still to go. The CX 253 day flight is fabulous - leave HKG at lunchtime, arrive in time for bed, with fantastic views over western China and the Stans. Minimal jet lag both ways (77W out, A350 back) and could function well the next day. CX felt like “J minus” as opposed to BA’s “economy plus”.
