Like you, I drink tap water. Tap water isn't going to hurt anyone. The bottled water industry and other interests have been scamming people into thinking that tap water isn't safe. The best tasting tap water is hard water from deep wells, and full of dissolved Ca and Mg minerals. If want to taste something awful, try drinking de-ionized water.
