I think "we" the passengers are co-conspirators in these things.... especially with relaxing rules on changes and cancelations
I know that I am much more willing to grab the flight(s) that I think I want and need - both revenue and award and monitor closely for changes that work in my favor
if there is any drop in price, I will cancel the ticket and grab the cheaper one.... even changing out tickets within a few hours of departure
.... but, all my stuff is domestic US these days.....
