Does anyone have any experience on this and would BA pay out if I were to buy some items for my family and I?
There is a general presumption that if you return home that at home you're going to have some more clothes and toiletries at home so you don't need to claim. So usually not covered by insurance, not covered by BA either. But there have been specific circumstances where BA has paid up when returning home luggage has been delayed. So we're back to my usual question: what would you do if it was 101% certain that BA/insurance would not and would never pay up? Would you muddle along? Or would you feel forced to buy things anyway?
