Did you accept the schedule change? If not, you will see in the website under your booking: "There has been a change to your booking and it is not possible to check in for your flight at this time." When you hit the "View your booking" button, you will see three options on the bottom: "Acknowledge changes", "Search for alternate flights" and "Cancel booking". You can choose the option suitable for you.
If you do not see the above, please let us know what you are seeing under your booking for us to identify the problem here.
There were multiple changes over the months which I accepted at the time. On every other airline I've flown the changes are still enough to qualify for a refund whether you accept or not. That's somewhat beside the point though, as what I'm trying to do is change the booking.
i am currently booked to fly MAD-YYZ on the 19th, but I'm stuck in Greenland and won't be in Madrid until late night on the 19th. The same flight seems to be offered daily and is easily discoverable in a new flight search, but when it searches for flights in 'change my booking' it says there is nothing available. According to the search engine there is no availability on any flight MAD-YYZ in the next 2 months, nor on any city pair that I've tried. I only have my phone with me, but I've tried the app and multiple browsers. I tried calling but gave up after an hour on hold. This is why I just want to cancel at this point. It shouldn't be this difficult.
