I'm curious how the benefits / mileage accrual work on a mixed fare consisting of the following:
JNB-AMS (O)
AMS-BLQ (J)
BLQ-AMS (J)
AMS-JNB (O)
Update: As work scheduling would have it, I am not going to be able to make it to Bologna, instead going to London.
I re-booked the flight, but now is on all AF metal.
JNB-CDG (z)
CDG-LHR (j)
LHR-CDG (j)
CDG-JNB (o)
I'm fairly certain that this is a mixed fare because I am able to pick seats on the short segments, and there appears to be lounge access included above the extra options. Can anyone clarify how this might work?
I'm taking an excursion from my project in South Africa and flying to Bologna, Italy via KLM in the new O fared business class. I'm literally bringing a backpack with me as this is just a quick work break for 5 days and back on so I'm not really concerned with baggage/lounge access. I am, however wondering how mileage accrual works as this will be credited to DL Skymiles.
