How do you mean trickier?
The issue with IC Barclay for me is even as a Royal Ambassador where one gets suites the noise is considerable with transmission from thin walls you can hear outside taxis, fire engines, cars honking, car alarms police sirens ambulances etc
I've always asked for a quiet room downgrade and I was happier.In the end I never returned despite a great location
Not as friendly either.
Heard they renovated The Barclay but thats cosmetic.Always found the TS location to be somewhat better with soundproofing.
With TS one should try get a high floor and preferably face the Hudson in a corner.8th Avenue views can be noisy
(not as bad as Barclay)
but if you high up enough even those are just fine too
