People love that place. I have heard a ton from friends, l.a. people, and it's rare for anything to have that kind of consistently stellar WOM.
Clients don't hardly ever put me that far north on the beach, UNFORTUNATELY.
But that'd be the one I'd ask for.

Someone mentioned the Nobu Ryokan earlier, too. Was a guest at a spectacular dinner there just before covid and got to see a few rooms. Man, oh man. Undeniably spectacular, quality, luxury. Not what I've yet come to expect from that 'new' hotel brand (disappointing, overpriced properties in Atlanta, Marrakech). Even several years ago when i saw their Malibu Ryokan, the prices were silly, just stupid expensive (would never pay myself for it), but it's truly a special lodging.
