I don't know if this is indeed a code-share and if so, whether that will be with 4Z (Airlink) or SA, but CX had a code-share partnership with SA on HKG-JNB long time ago and has always filed add-on fares from JNB using SA intra-Africa routes. I think CX and SA have a good relationship.

As for your earlier comment on requiring F/A to stay for a week if the flight will turn around quickly, perhaps CX can shuttle F/A between JNB and DUR? I know this is also far-fetched but I think having just 1 JNB-DUR code-share a week is also unlikely.

Alternatively, could CX possibly do HKG-JNB/CPT-DUR-HKG or v. v. like the way the CNS/BNE route used to operate?
