I think you underestimate:
1. How long they were waiting for approval
2. How many systems they've tried on the MAX
As far as I'm concerned, #2 is entirely their fault. If the 223 and 77W can have the same system, there should be no reason the 7M8 can't.
But yeah, the MAX wifi complaints started long before they had regulatory approval for it.
And one might infer that every new system they try might have to go through the same process. But then I refer you back to #2, which I have no sympathy for.
