Looking at UA’s quoted one way fares for that date, it can make a tremendous difference based on which connecting HA flight you choose… even ones a half hour apart. From what I saw, the lower priced HNL connections weren’t all that different price-wise from the ORD, DEN, SFO, and LAX options.
